The Rested Mother
“The healing that happens in Yoga Nidra is multi-dimensional, it effects every level of our being including our emotions and mental constructions.” - Uma-Dinsmore Tuli.

You want to make space to feel rested and
connect back to self
You’re exhausted of all the doing and busyness and you feel deep down the call to slow and still…
You feel deep down you have much to get back in touch with yourself if only you made some space and time and REST….
You want to receive messages from that rested place…
Imagine….
Taking time to rest, to stop doing and being busy and nourish your inner self…. It is from this place you begin to feel deeply rested and find your inner wisdom and healing.
When we deeply rest we remember that ‘we are human being’s and not human-doings’, trusting in meeting our selves just where we are and in the season of mothering that we are currently in.
Yoga Nidra creates space for self and needs and priorities. It supports you to become acquainted with yourself in your role as Mother.

By the end of the 4 weeks of rest you will…
Reclaim your right to rest
Slow down, let go of the busy doing and lean into ‘being’.
Allow the stories and messages to rise from deep rest and the liminal dreaming space
Unearth the story of who you are now (the ripple effects of this is far reaching, including those your people)
Regulate your nervous system
Leave feeling rested
There is absolutely nothing for you to do.
Just ‘be’, whether that is lying down or leaning back in a comfortable chair- whatever is most comfortable for you.

Experience a DEEP sense of rest.
For 4 weeks, you will be invited to practice Yoga Nidra, a transformational sleep practice.
You are guided from your conscious waking state to a state of relaxed consciousness, where deep healing and restoration happens.
Allow for this deep rest practice to rest your mind and body and reduce stress, enabling healing to happen where it is most needed.
To practice Yoga Nidra, find yourself in the most comfortable resting position, be that lying on your back, or on your side or else leaning back in a chair.

As women, REST is medicine for our mind, body and soul.
“When women are the story-tellers, the human story changes”.
Elizabeth Lesser Cassandra Speaks.
Deep rest enables us to make space and allow our inner voice to come through.
There is so much growth and opportunity in rest and the liminal space. The space to just be.
To come out of our heads and dive into our bodies.
For far too long, we have been told by the Overculture that we should be doing, thinking, growing, acquiring knowledge, keep climbing the ladder, be the best and keep fixing ourselves because we are not enough until X, Y and Z are achieved.
Now is the time to reclaim and connect to our inner wisdom as women and as mothers, push all the noise to the side and make space for our intuition to speak, to connect with our bodies and listen to the stories we have been telling ourselves and re-write the new narrative.
Emerging post pandemic, women and mothers have shouldered a lot of the doing, caring, mothering and holding that has left us more depleted and exhausted than ever. We are managing and juggling more we can and our quality of rest and sleep has been greatly affected.
This is the call to rest and tend to yourself.
As mothers, rest is a place of power, transformation and deep inner work.
As nurtures of the next generation, we can re-write the stories that have been passed down from generations. We can tell a new story.
Our children deserve a well-rested mother, this is how we model rest for them.
The mothering you will do from a rested place is transformation- breaking cultural myths and reinstating the value in the work we do as mothers and space holders.

There is no perfectionism in Yoga Nidra
Come as your are, the whole of you.
I invite you to drop into yourself, into a sacred, restful and healing space with Yoga Nidra.
