Welcome I am Gursharn,
I am a curious meaning-making human.
I am passionate about creating spaces for women to gather, rest and explore the unique gifts available for us when we make space to rest and slow down.
I prefer she/her pronouns and live in France with my partner and child. I try and move with the ebb and flow of the seasons. I love being led by my child and seeing life through his perspective.
While I write this in Summer 2024 I know for sure that:
I have many stories to tell, I am a deep and present listener, and that I am forever evolving into self.
I become a Mother in early 2019 which has felt like a complete shattering of my identity as I thought I once knew it as. But as I move through motherhood and midlife a portal opened to reconnect with my feminine, make space for myself and step into a more intentional way to be in life.
I try to live my life slower, unapologetically and more in flow with the feminine than to the linear expectations of the current society and culture I am living in.
The core to my work:
Create a stable and nurturing environment connect.
Foster connection with self and others.
Embrace honesty and show up as we are.
Cultivate play and creativity.
Value simplicity.
Deep Appreciation…
For my teachers I have learned from and have been supported by over the years. You’ve inspired me, taught me and held me through.
My Teachers
My thanks to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition who health coaching taught me how to get curious about the state of my health and courage to support ours along their health journeys.
Thanking Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, for teaching me about the power of yoga Nidra and enabling me to offer this gift to women.
Forever grateful to Molly Caro May, for guiding me to find my truth, my stories and my voice since becoming a Mother. Her honesty and power to connect women and to witness them will stay with me forever.
Deep thanks to Sharon Bales, whose guidance has helped me to reconnect to my centre and understanding my seat of creativity and the powerful stories it holds.
Huge thanks to Dr Sophie Brock and Nikki McCanon for giving me language to understand patriarchal motherhood through her Motherhood Studies course and Matrescence through the Seasons of Matrescence. Their course has been imperative and instrumental in guiding me through the landscape of motherhood and my own matrescence.
Heartfelt thanks to Kamya O’Keeffe mentoring on Rites of Passage and supporting me through my life transition.
Deep appreciation for Pam England’s work on Birth Story Medicine. She has guided opened the world of Jung and connecting to my inner soul ears as I re-emerge in this new season of life.
I will be forever thankful to Lisa Marchiano, Maria Souza and Sharon Blackie’s guidance and mentoring on entering the deep forest of transformation and trusting the power of fairy tales to show me the way back home.
And a heartfelt thank you to my Sisters all over the world who have held and supported me throughout this journey, forever grateful for you.
Get to know me…
I love anything animal print, I love getting my son to mini-match me too!
Pizza is my weak spot and I discovered that quite late in life.
Finding a free side-street parking gives me winning-the-lotto feels.
